The health of our community is very important to us and toward that end we are taking steps to follow the guidelines of the World Health Organization and other governmental agencies in cleaning and disinfecting our library in order to help limit the spread of the COVID 19 virus. The Biblioteca will be open as normal this weekend, including the House & Garden Tour.
We have made the decision to close the Biblioteca and all of its activities, including the House & Garden Tour, for two weeks starting Monday March 16th through March 30th If you currently hold tickets to Three Hotels or Reel Docs performances over the next two weeks, please see below.
Three Hotels will continue to perform this weekend, March 13th, 14th, and 15th. For those of you holding tickets for March 19-22nd you have three options. 1) If you would like to attend a performance this weekend and seats are available, you are welcome to exchange your tickets – again, subject to availability. 2) If you would like a refund, please bring your tickets to the box office and we will give you a refund through March 15th. We cannot provide a refund without your ticket. 3) If you cannot come by this Sunday the 15th to obtain your refund, please consider making a donation of your ticket to the production company/Biblioteca, as everyone will be incurring losses.
Regarding the Reel Docs’ screening on March 17th of Molly Ivins’ film, we will issue refunds through Sunday, March 15th. We also ask that if you are willing to donate your ticket fee, we will donate all monies to the Biblioteca.
The new production, Ay Corazon, originally scheduled for March 27-28 will be postponed to later dates.
Thank you for your understanding. We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you apprised of our plans going forward.
