Película: Una Navidad con los Muppets
Ésta es una adaptación al mundo de los populares Muppets de Jim Henson, del clásico de Charles Dickens, ‘Cuento de Navidad’. La versión tiene como intérprete destacado a Michael Caine, que encarna a Ebenezer Scrooge. El avaro y desabrido anciano Scrooge recibe la visita de los fantasmas del pasado, presente y futuro para mostrarle las consecuencias de sus actos. Las enseñanzas de estos espíritus permiten al viejo tacaño tomar conciencia de su comportamiento mezquino y egoísta y emprender el camino de redención. A este fin contribuye su encuentro con el bondadoso Bob Cratchit -papel reservado para la Rana René- y su familia, que le permite reconciliarse consigo mismo y disfrutar de las fiestas. En esta versión del relato navideño por antonomasia, la cerdita Peggy es Emily Cratchit y Gonzo, un peludo Dickens.

Film: The Muppets Christmas Carol
This is a world adaptation of Jim Henson’s popular Muppets from the Charles Dickens classic ‘A Christmas Carol’. The version is featured by Michael Caine, who plays Ebenezer Scrooge. The greedy and bland old man Scrooge is visited by ghosts of the past, present and future to show him the consequences of his actions. The teachings of these spirits allow the stingy old man to become aware of his petty and selfish behavior and to embark on the path of redemption. To this end, contribute his meeting with the kind Bob Cratchit -the role reserved for René the Frog- and his family, which allows him to reconcile with himself and enjoy the holidays. In this version of the quintessential Christmas story, Peggy the pig is Emily Cratchit and Gonzo is a furry Dickens.
