El sheriff Woody y el miembro del Comando Estelar Buzz Lightyear, junto al resto de la pandilla de juguetes, están a punto de hacer un viaje familiar por carretera con Bonnie, su querida dueña. Pero cuando aparece Forky, una manualidad hecha por Bonnie convertida en juguete, empiezan los problemas. Forky, que es un tenedor-cuchara, no se siente como un juguete, y por eso Woody quiere ayudarle a descubrir la importancia de ser el juguete de una niña. Claro que todo se complica cuando
este tenedor-cuchara salta de la autocaravana en la que viajan, y Woody sale en su busca. En esta aventura por carretera descubrirán lo grande que puede ser el mundo para un juguete.

Sheriff Woody and Star Command member Buzz Lightyear, along with the rest of the toy gang, are about to go on a family road trip with their loving owner Bonnie. But when Forky appears, a craft made by Bonnie turned into a toy, trouble begins. Forky, who is a fork- spoon, doesn’t feel like a toy, so Woody wants to help him discover the importance of being a girl’s toy. Things get complicated, of course,
when this fork-spoon jumps out of the RV they’re traveling in, and Woody goes looking for him. In this road adventure they will discover how big the world can be for a toy.
