SÁBADOS DE MATINÉ EN EL TEATRO SANTA ANA

Massachusetts, mediados del siglo XIX, después de la Guerra Civil en Estados Unidos. 

Decididas a vivir la vida según sus propias normas, las hermanas March, Meg (Emma Watson), Beth (Eliza Scanlen), Jo (Saoirse Ronan) y Amy (Florence Pugh), deberán enfrentarse al reto de llegar a la edad adulta.

Las cuatro hermanas, guiadas por su madre la Señora March (Laura Dern) y avaladas por la fortuna de su Tía March (Meryl Streep), trabarán amistad con el vecino de al lado, un joven llamado Laurie (Timothée Chalamet), además de con Friedrich Bhaer (Louis Garrel), un profesor de origen alemán que animará a Jo a convertirse en escritora. 

Esta nueva adaptación del clásico de Louisa May Alcott Mujercitas (1868) está escrita y dirigida por la actriz y realizadora Greta Gerwig, responsable de la película Lady Bird (2017).

Determined to live life by their own standards, the March sisters Meg (Emma Watson), Beth (Eliza Scanlen), Jo (Saoirse Ronan) and Amy (Florence Pugh) must rise to the challenge of reaching adulthood.

Guided by their mother Mrs. March (Laura Dern) and backed by the fortune of their Aunt March (Meryl Streep), the four sisters will befriend their next-door neighbor, a young man named Laurie (Timothée Chalamet), as well as Friedrich Bhaer (Louis Garrel), a professor of German origin who will encourage Jo to become a writer.

This new adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s classic Little Women (1868) is written and directed by actress and director Greta Gerwig, responsible for the film Lady Bird (2017).
