Película: Luz de luna

Luz de luna es una película que trata fundamentalmente del desarrollo de una identidad minoritaria en un mundo que le es adverso: la difícil infancia, adolescencia y madurez de un chico afroamericano que crece en una zona conflictiva de Miami. Chiron, el protagonista de esta historia, se irá descubriendo y conviviendo consigo mismo en tanto que homosexual y en función de las experiencias vividas y del contexto.

A medida que pasan los años, el joven se descubre a sí mismo y encuentra el amor en lugares inesperados. En esta búsqueda de su propia identidad, tiene que hacer frente a la incomprensión de su madre (Naomie Harris), sus propios demonios personales y a la violencia de los chicos del barrio.

Film: Moonlight

Moonlight is a film that fundamentally deals with the development of a minority identity in a world that is adverse to it: the difficult childhood, adolescence and maturity of an African-American boy who grows up in a conflictive area of ​​Miami. Chiron, the protagonist of this story, will discover and live with himself as a homosexual and depending on the experiences lived and the context.

As the years go by, the young man discovers himself and finds love in unexpected places. In this search for his own identity, he has to face the incomprehension of his mother (Naomie Harris), his own personal demons and the violence of the boys in the neighborhood.
