Annie Nocenti en la casa: plática y lectura de comics |

Annie Nocenti es periodista, cineasta, docente, escritora de historietas y escritora. En Marvel Comics, fue la editora de Uncanny X-Men y The New Mutants, y la escritora de Daredevil. Nocenti co-creó personajes como Longshot, Mojo, Spiral, Blackheart y Typhoid Mary. Luego pasó a editar y escribir para High Times, Prison Life Magazine, Scenario, Details y Stop Smiling. El “viaje por carretera más caro del mundo” de Nocenti se recopiló en The Best American Travel Writing 2008, editado por Anthony Bourdain. Su largometraje Taking Chances fue producido en 2009. Codirigió los documentales The Baluch y Disarming Falcons, y realizó el cortometraje Creep para Glass Eye Pix. Ha enseñado cine en el Instituto de Cine de Haití y en el Círculo Indígena de Finnmark, Noruega. Recientemente regresó a los cómics con las novelas gráficas The Seeds y Ruby Falls para Berger Books/Dark Horse Comics, y los próximos proyectos de Marvel. Divide su tiempo entre la ciudad de Nueva York y el valle de Hudson. |

Annie Nocenti is a journalist, filmmaker, teacher, comic book writer and editor. At Marvel Comics, she was the editor of Uncanny X-Men and The New Mutants, and the writer of Daredevil. Nocenti co-created such characters as Longshot, Mojo, Spiral, Blackheart and Typhoid Mary. She moved on to edit and write for High Times, Prison Life Magazine, Scenario, Details, and Stop Smiling. Nocenti’s “The Most Expensive Road Trip in the World” was collected in The Best American Travel Writing 2008, edited by Anthony Bourdain. Her feature film Taking Chances was produced in 2009. She co-directed the documentaries The Baluch and Disarming Falcons, and made the short Creep for Glass Eye Pix. She has taught filmmaking at the Cine Institute in Haiti, and at the Indigenous Circle in Finnmark, Norway. She recently returned to comics with The Seeds and Ruby Falls graphic novels for Berger Books/Dark Horse Comics, and upcoming Marvel projects. She splits time between New York City and the Hudson Valley
